As in previous years, the 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom promises to have all the fun, elegance and excitement of previous proms, but with the added element of discovering the Lost City of Atlantis.  The night will include...

  • Reception hour with Hors D’ouevres, Crudites, and Non-Alcoholic Frozen Drinks
  • Open Soda & Juice Bar During the Entire Evening
  • Formal Butler-Served Dinner & White Glove Service
  • Keepsakes, DJ, Entertainment, Dancing & Music
  • Annual Florida Homeschool Prom King & Queen and Royal Court Contest
  • Tribute to Graduating Seniors
The founders of the Florida Homeschool Prom, which is also known as the South-Florida Christian Homeschool Prom, have been organizing proms for homeschooled students for over ten years.

Homeschoolers and their friends, virtual school students, and homeschool alumni from all over Florida come every year to enjoy an elegant night of dancing, fellowship, and fun.

The Florida Homeschool Prom also hosts a number of social activities and events throughout the year for homeschoolers and their families.

Each year a prom committee* is established, which is made up of homeschooled and virtual schooled students.  These students, while working under the guidance of volunteer adults, coordinate all aspects of our prom.

     * Note: Student members of the Prom Committee earn service hours, which can be included in their transcript when applying for college scholarships.

The theme for the 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom is "A Night in the Lost City", and will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at the world renowned Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa in Hallandale Beach, Florida (www.diplomatgolfresortandspa.com).

Also, the Florida Homeschool Prom will once again host the Florida Homeschool Prom King & Queen and Royal Court Contest.  (Click Here for details.)

The Florida Homeschool Prom and its Prom Committee greatly appreciates everyone who is helping in supporting the annual prom and social events.  Without your support, the Florida Homeschool Prom would not be such a blessing to our homeschool and virtual school teens.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the 2009 Prom!  For more information about the Florida Homeschool Prom, please contact us at info@floridahomeschoolprom.com or by calling  (954) 922-5265.
