to introduce our Community Calendar. This page is intended to provide
information about homeschool events and activities that are open to ALL
homeschoolers and/or the general public. Some of the activities on
this page are time sensitive, while others are on-going. Additionally,
some of the events on this page are coordinated/hosted by the Broward Christian
Homeschoolers, and others are coordinated/hosted by other homeschool groups,
companies, individuals and organizations. If you have an event or
activity you would like posted on this page, please contact calendar@browardchristianhomeschoolers.org.

Monthly Membership Meeting |

Our monthly membership meetings, which are open to the
public and ALL homeschoolers, are held the first Thursday of each month
(except July, August & January) from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, at Trinity
Lutheran Church in Pembroke Pines.
LOCATION:Trinity Lutheran Church, 7150 Pines Blvd., Pembroke
Pines, FL 33024 (east of BCC campus)
DIRECTIONS: The church is on the corner of 72nd Avenue and Pines
Blvd. (aka - Hollywood Blvd.) next to the BCC campus. Trinity Lutheran
Church is located just west of the Florida Turnpike and east of University
Blvd., which is conveniently accessible for our membership and visitors
traveling from different locations throughout Broward, Palm Beach and Dade

All sales are final - Cash only please
The Depository is open from 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM on the dates listed above.
Children are not permitted in the warehouse. Books are available on a first
come first serve basis only. The TEXTBOOK WAREHOUSE does not accept telephone
requests.
Please read and follow all depository rules:
1. You must list all the books you are taking with you on the form
provided.
2. You must stamp all of the books you take on the inside cover.
3. Hand your completed list to one of our warehouse personnel.
4. Stay out of designated restricted areas.
5. All textbooks acquired from the Textbook Warehouse are for personal
use only and are not for resale.

Florida Christian Homeschool Prom, Fort Lauderdale |

"A Voyage to Vienna" will be the theme of the prom, to
be held on board the luxurious "Anticipation IV" yacht. Boarding will begin
at 7 p.m. It promises to be a night to remember as attendees will travel
under the stars through the beautiful Intercoastal waterways of South Florida.
This year's prom will have all the fun, elegance and excitement of previous
proms, but with the added element of being on board one of South Florida's
premier luxury yachts. The night will include:

A reception hour with butler-served hors d’oeuvres

Assorted (and unlimited) sodas and frozen non-alcoholic daiquiris
-
A formal, butler-served sit-down dinner
-
Assorted cakes, fruits, pastries and a make-your-own-sundae bar
-
Professional photography, keepsakes, DJ, entertainment & music

The annual prom king, queen and court contest
-
A tribute to the 2008 graduating seniors
BCH greatly appreciates everyone who is helping organize and coordinate
this year's prom. Without their support, this prom would not be such a
blessing to homeschool teens. We look forward to seeing everyone!
The cost for this year's prom is $85 per student (age 14 and older)
through February 29, and $90 per student as of March 1. Final registration

Coach Rick "Mr. Rick" Andreassen founder and director of CHAA
Saints PE Program.
The Christian Homeschool Athletic Association
(C.H.A.A. "SAINTS") is a professional physical education program presently
serving home school families from Hollywood, FL to Vero Beach, FL. C.H.A.A.'s
sole purpose is to provide homeschooled children all the benefits of an
athletic curriculum under the guidelines of professional instructors.
Special Encouragement Speaker: Tony Carboni
For almost 8 years Tony's mission has been to
serve the South Florida homeschool population. He admits it is the
most rewarding work he has ever done. The Sunshine Learning Center
was developed to provide a quality academic environment exclusively for
homeschoolers. In the last 8 years Tony has worked with thousands
of homeschool students and has learned a lot about their unique styles
of learning |
