    The benefits of being a member of the Broward Christian Homeschoolers include, but are not limited to, the following... 

Monthly Meetings: Our monthly membership meetings, which are open to the public and ALL homeschoolers, are held the first Thursday of each month (except July, August & January) from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pembroke Pines.  Please Click Here to see what we have scheduled throughout the year for our monthly meetings. 

    Our monthly meetings include experienced and knowledgeable speakers from the local, state and national homeschool communities, as well as, Science Fairs, Talent shows, and more.

Monthly Newsletter: Our monthly newsletter is full of member submitted announcements, legislative updates, field trip and class schedules, teen activity schedule, middle school and children activity schedules, inspirational and motivational articles and words of encouragement, plus so MUCH MORE!  If you would like to submit something for publication in our newsletter, please contact our publications editor at  newsletter@browardchristianhomeschoolers.org.  

E-Loop: We have an electronic E-loop were we keep our members up-to-date and notified about legislative issues, upcoming events and announcements of interest for the homeschooling community.

Discount Membership with the Florida Parent Educators Association (FPEA): When you join the BCH, you are entitled to a discounted membership with the Florida Parent Educators Association (FPEA), which is the largest state homeschool organization in Florida.  Though membership with the FPEA is not required when joining the Broward Christian Homeschoolers, the BCH encourages its members to do so due to the benefits of being a FPEA member.  These benefits include:

• Discounted FPEA Membership Fee.
• The FPEA's bi-monthly newsletter, The Almanac.
• A discount to the FPEA's Florida Homeschool Convention, which is one of the largest homeschool conferences in the nation.
• Scholarship opportunities exclusive only to FPEA members.

Lending Library: Through the generosity of our members (and some supportive non-members from other homeschool support groups), plus donations from outside companies, the BCH has an extensive and always growing lending library for its members.

Used Curriculum Sell & Share: This is provided as a courtesy service for the family members of the Broward Christian Homeschoolers (BCH).  If you are an active BCH member with any books, curriculum, educational materials, or any resources that may benefit a homeschooling family in their home education efforts, Click Here for details on how to utilize this service.  All submissions will appear on this page, be sent out to as an email announcement to the BCH membership, and appear in BCH's monthly newsletter.
